Summary:
Williston is seeking long-term radiology locums coverage. The locums will be onsite for one week per month (5 consecutive days) to complete minor procedures and image reads, including diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsy, barium enema, small bowel follow-through, upper GI, epidural steroid injection, abscess drainage, and Medicare overreads.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- One week per month
- 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday (alternatively, 8-hour days if preferred)
Location:

Duties:
- Perform procedures and reads such as:
- Breast localization for OR with magseed/magtrace
- Breast cyst aspirations
- Stereotactic breast biopsies
- Arthrograms, joint aspirations/injections
- CT cystograms
- PICC line placement
- Lumbar punctures
- Hysterosalpingograms
- Bone marrow biopsy
- Ultrasound biopsy of lymph nodes, muscle, kidney, thyroid
- Abscess drainage
- Various injections (ESI, SI, Facet)

- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Credentialing Information:
- Faster credentialing if the candidate has a North Dakota license.
- Payor Enrollment: 60-90 days
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiology
- North Dakota License or IMLC
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA

- The facility operates as a 25-bed CAH hospital with an average daily census of 12.7.
- Facilities include support for general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, family providers with OB, and OB/GYN providers.
- Providers perform approximately 2,300 radiology exams monthly, focusing on procedures and Medicare overreads during onsite days.
- Expected to perform 5-10 procedures per day, depending on complexity.
- Providers will be given a list of required overreads, including CT, MRI, X-rays, mammograms, and DEXA scans.
