Schedule and Procedures
- Monday through Friday, GI Lab hours 8 am to 4 pm
- No call required
Required Procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices, and PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and esophageal manometry interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
Preferred Procedures:
- Advanced provider for ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) both diagnostic and therapeutic
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy

Certifications and Licensing:
- Must have a current active PA license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology
- Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
- BLS certification required
