Physician provider needed for inpatient and call coverage.

Schedule:
– Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 4 PM
– Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM to 4 PM + Call from 4 PM to 8 AM

Requirements:
– Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
– Completion of Psychiatry residency required; fellowship in geriatric psychiatry preferred

Hospital Details:
– Inpatient unit with 29 beds
– Call schedule: 1-2 days per week; occasionally 3 days
– Possible weekend call required; on call weekdays by phone from 5 PM until 8 AM the following morning
– On call weekends include rounding on psychiatric units and handling new consultations in the ED and med/surg
– Average patient encounters while on call vary; typically 2-4 admissions plus non-routine incidents on the unit
– Response time: 30 minutes
– Midlevels assist with new evaluations and summaries
– EMR system used: Epic
– Department/Units Rounding: Adult, DEM, consults
– Average patient encounters per shift: 10-12
