Coverage is needed one weekend per month.
- This site is accommodating a transition with a loss of three pediatricians and currently has two part-time MDs.
- The position involves call-only responsibilities from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- Patient encounters per shift range from 4 to 8.

Requirements and Certifications
- Physicians must be board-certified or board certification eligible.
- BLS and PALS certifications are required.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days.

Procedures
- Pediatric Procedures:
- Inpatient care is required.
- Nursery Level I and attendance at C-sections/high risk deliveries are required.
- Preferred experience with PICU and Nursery Level II/NICU.
- Ventilation management and intubation for newborns and pediatrics are required.
- Central line placement is required.
Specialty Skills
- Hospitalist experience is valued, particularly in pediatric procedures.
- Special attention to non-invasive ventilation management and intubation is crucial.
Please note: Adult procedures and certain specialty skills are not required for this role.
