The position involves working primarily in the operating room with some additional time spent on the ICU floor. The role requires full-time availability, including scheduled clinic hours, OR first assist functions, and handling call duties at night and on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as a First Assist, primarily focusing on cardiovascular cases.
• Participate in call duties, which occur about every five weekends, including overnight and weekend assignments, typically from 6 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Utilize equipment including Marquet and manage documentation through Cerner systems.
• Engage in both OR duties and patient care in the ICU as needed.

Requirements:

• Providers must be board certified or board certification eligible.
• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with EVH and first assist procedures is required.
• The facility is a Level 1 trauma center.
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-120 days.
