Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiovascular Care.

Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave

Practice Setting: Office-Clinic/Outpatient/Hospital Based/Rounding

Call Ratio: APP rotation TBD

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Description of Ancillary Staff: 1 front office, 1 surgical scheduler, 1 onsite manager, 1 office RN, 2 Physician Assistants, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Surgeons

Patient Age Demographic: Adult/Geriatric

Procedures/Surgeries Required: This is a non-surgical position; no procedures will be performed.

Other Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic management

Submission Requirements:
– Board Certified (AGACNP – BC, ACNPC-BC, AGPCNP-BC, ACNPC-AG) – Required
– Active VA License – Required
– DEA – Required, no exceptions (will NOT accept those willing to obtain)
– ACLS/BLS – Required
– Provider must be Local – Required
– NO NEW GRADS; PROVIDER MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

On Call: 1 night or weekend per month

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified

State Licenses: Virginia
