We are seeking a physician for a long-term, 4-month contract for weekend call coverage and occasional Mondays in the endoscopy suite, mainly performing colonoscopies. Candidates must be available for a long-term, ongoing commitment. The role requires performing 2-3 endoscopic procedures days per month, with patient encounters ranging from 5-10 per shift.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Yes, certified board certification is required.
• IMLC: Not applicable.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60-90 days.

Specialty Skills:

• General Surgery:
• Required: Adult, Trauma, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Breast surgery, Chest tube insertion.

• Not Required: Pediatric, Neonate, Laparoscopic surgery, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication, Head/neck surgery, Chest wall/pleural procedures, Obstetric & gynecologic surgery, Liver surgery, Minor Orthopedics, Hand Surgery, PA Catheter placement, Laser certification, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric surgery procedures.

• GI Endoscopy:

• Preferred: Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy.

Additional skills such as central line insertion are preferred but not mandatory.
