Role Overview:

Seeking a physician for the Cath Unit with proficiency in the following procedures and areas: GE Cath Unit, IVUS, Balloon Pump, TEE, Stress Echo, Thoracic Echo, and Nuclear Medicine Stress.

Responsibilities:

• Work in the cardiac cath lab and provide consultations on the units.
• Participate in a half-day in the Cath Lab and a half-day in the Clinic.
• Patient encounters per shift: 4-5.

Requirements:

• Must have an updated CV.
• Availability for designated dates.
• No call duties required.
• Board Certification not required, but minimum Board Certification eligibility is preferred.
• Certifications required: ACLS.
• Physicians should not require IMLC for practice.

Logistics:

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days.
• Nearest Airport: Tri-City Airport, Blountville, TN.
• Lodging Recommendation: Holiday Inn Express, Claypool Hill, VA.

Facility requirements include no specific trauma level, and Pediatric level: 0.
