Genesis Medical Center in Davenport is seeking Locum OB/GYN physicians for coverage.

Schedule: Facility allows for flexible shift options, including 24-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.) and 12-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Clinic shifts are optionally available between call shifts but are not required.

Practice Setting: OB/GYN services provided in hospital with 24/7 coverage.

– Call Ratio: 1:5
– Number of Physicians in Practice: 4
– Onsite Lab and Ultrasound available
– Support Staff: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OR, ER
– Patient Mix: 40% Low Risk Pregnancy, 60% High Risk Pregnancy

Call Duties:
– Average 65-80 deliveries per month
– Triage and delivery services
– Emergency room coverage for OB/GYN
– Obstetrics and gynecology procedures

Required Skills:
– Management of low and high-risk pregnancies
– Required labor and delivery procedures including routine and complicated deliveries
– Required gynecology procedures such as surgical and laparoscopic procedures

Documentation System: CERNER

Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30-90 days

Requirements:
– Board Certified
– Active IA License or Active IMLC
– NRP Certified
– Fetal Monitoring
– Available for weekday and weekend coverage as needed

Providers should be willing to discuss schedule preferences and be flexible as required. The facility allows for back-to-back weekend 24-hour shifts but not during the week. Providers may work consecutive 12-hour hospital shifts or 8-hour clinic shifts.
