Physician travelers are needed for a solo practice. The role involves handling a daily volume of 10-15 cases, with a focus on small GI biopsies and notable GYN pathology. Approximately one cancer case per week is expected. After-hours calls are very rare, and there is no weekend call. Consulting pathologists are available at a sister hospital located about 45 minutes away with courier service.
The role requires consecutive weekday coverage from Monday to Friday, 8-5 hours per day, with no weekends or call responsibilities. Patient encounters per shift are zero.
Requirements:
- Physicians must be board certified.
- IMLC providers are not accepted.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days.
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
