Seeking a fellowship-trained breast surgeon for locum tenens positions with available OR days on Mondays and clinic days from Tuesday to Friday. This is a surgical oncology role, not a hematology oncology position. Hospitalists will admit new patients.
Patient Information
- Patient encounters per shift range from 8 to 14.
- No acute leukemia or malignant hematology cases are involved.
- Surgical oncology focus without bone marrow transplant (BMT) or bone marrow biopsy (BMB) procedures required.
Board Certification and Credentialing
- Physicians must be board certified.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately four weeks.
- Minimum board certification is required, but bids from providers with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are not accepted.
Specialty Skills
- Breast surgery is required.
- No general, pediatric, neonate, or trauma surgery experience is necessary.
- No laparoscopic, head/neck, chest wall, or gynecologic surgeries are required.
- Vascular, orthopedic, hand, plastic, or pediatric surgeries are not necessary.
