Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center is seeking a locum Hospitalist Oncology physician to join their team.

Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, consulting
• Patient Population: Inpatient Oncology unit with both oncology and hematology patients
• Support Staff: Outpatient Oncologists available for support or questions
• Inpatient Coverage: Locum will be responsible for treating both oncology and hematology patients
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Requirements for Credentialing:

• Essential Documents:
• MD diploma
• Internship/residency/fellowship certificates
• All medical licenses
• DEA certificate
• Board Certification
• Life support cards: BLS
• Current and previous certificates of insurance
• Driver’s license
• Professional color photo/headshot
• CMEs for the past 2 years
• Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
• References
• Case logs

Submission Requirements:

• Certifications Required:
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology
• ID license in hand
• CSR, DEA, BLS
• Additional Requirements:
• Availability at the time of name clear
• Clean background/malpractice record

Preferences:

• Local candidates are highly preferred, avoiding the need for flights
• COVID vaccination is required to work at this facility

On-Call and Weekend:

• Participation in on-call and weekend duties is required.
