Physician Radiology traveler is needed to fulfill a full-time position for a Locum Interventional Radiologist.

• Services/Procedures offered: X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds, as well as swallow studies, barium enema, myelogram, and lumbar puncture
• Number of exam rooms per provider: 3

• Clinic provider daily volume: 111
• Average daily hospital practice census: 111
• Appointment length: 20 minutes
• EMR: Powerscribe and Cerner
• Teaching opportunity available

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases
• Interpreting test results
• Communicating findings to other healthcare professionals
• Performing interventional procedures using imaging guidance
• Choosing and implementing appropriate imaging techniques
• Reviewing and interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds
• Recommending testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified – REQUIRED
• Active IA License or Active IMLC – REQUIRED
• Full-time availability is preferred, but candidates offering 2 weeks per month will be considered
• Fellowship trained – REQUIRED
