MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center is seeking a Locum Pulmonary Critical Care physician for coverage during employee PTO/Vacations.

Details:

• Shift Structure: Primarily one block of dates per month. The schedule includes in-house shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and off-site call from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Patient Load: Average of 13 ICU patients per day.
• Facilities: Total of 200 beds with 12 designated ICU beds.
• Supervision: Required to supervise advanced practice providers, although oversight is minimal as nurse practitioners are able to practice independently.
• EMR System: Cerner
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30-45 days
• Patient Group: Focus solely on ICU patients.

Submission Requirements:

• Certifications: Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care
• Licenses: ACLS, DEA, CSR
• State License: Active Iowa License required (IMLC or non-licensed candidates are not accepted)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, please provide status at the time of submission
