Need for MI licensed provider to cover the following dates:
12/29/25 – 1/5/26

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 9 hour shift with an hour lunch (8 hours billable) with 15 hour call shift overnight.
Weekend call 24 hours.
All hours must be logged on the timesheet PRIOR to submission.

Immediate turnaround on the credentialing application and billing enrollment packet is required. Start date TBD upon completed credentialing.

Locum provider will not have a scribe for this assignment and will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant throughout the day. Locum provider will review all pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nursing staff regarding the letters they wish to send to patients with results and follow-up recommendations.

The site is looking for complete block coverage and will only consider providers with full availability for the necessary dates.

Procedures + Call:
– EGD
– Colonoscopy
– pH studies
– Manometry
– Sigmoidoscopy
– PEG/PEG-J tube placement
– ERCP/EUS preferred

EMR: Paragon & EndoPro
Average 12 patients per day
Patient encounters per shift: Up to 12 for procedures, less inpatient
Nearest Airport: Sawyer International Airport

Requirements:
– Board certification required
– Minimum Board Certification: Certified
– No bids from providers with IMLC
– Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days

Required Certifications:
– ABLS
– ACLS
– ATLS
– BLS
– PALS: No

Trauma Level: 2
Specialty Skills: Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology
Preferred skills include:
– Upper GI endoscopy
– Colonoscopy
– Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
– Liver biopsy
– Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
