Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is looking for an OB Hospitalist to fill their need!Schedule and Dates of Coverage:June 15 ongoing until perm is hiredIn house shifts on the LD floorSpecific days/shifts needed:Every Monday 7a-5:30p + Every Wednesday 5:30a-5:30a2ndTuesday/month, 1stFriday/month, 3rdFriday/month; 7a-5:30pDetails:Reason for need:Have 2 anticipated departures coming around mid-June (retirement and academic change)Program is a Laborist program ("doc in the box") 24/7 covers LD and OB Triage and occasionally has to go to ER for some female related GYN issues.OB/GYN residents there 24/7 but no APP coverageWould be responsible for supervising residents – no exceptionsPrivate practice deliveries on that unitLevel 3 NICU staffed by neonatologists and APP27 beds + triage and OR in addition to those.400 c-sections per yearWill do elective inductions but not commonlyMust be comfortable with c-sections; emergency DNC, DNE24 hour anesthesia that covers OBRecently developed dry epidural programDon't do a lot of high riskCredentialing timeframe: 90-120 daysLocum
to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees:
MD/DO: Cap is $22k
160-319 hours = $2500
reduction
320-639 hours = $5000
reduction
640+hours = $7000 reduction
Regardless of number of hours
a MD/DO has worked, reduction will not exceed $7500
