• Standard pulmonary unit consult with in-house call.
• Physicians are to document patient contact hours and provide supporting notes on their timesheet entries to verify call-back hours. Overtime hours submitted must relate to acceptable occurrences.
• Specific reasons for call-back must be documented in the timesheet, with descriptions that can be validated if audited.
• Telephone calls and medical record reviews are not considered on-site call-back.
