Open Dates for OB/GYN

Key Details:

• 24-hour call coverage only, from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
• No clinic responsibilities.
• Must hold an active NC license.
• A clean history is necessary to qualify for emergency privileges.

Documentation Guidelines:

• Document patient contact hours, including call-back hours.
• Provide notes on timesheet entries to verify call-back hours and overtime.
• Specific reason for call-back should be documented clearly on the timesheet.
• Telephone calls and medical record reviews do not count as on-site call-back.
• On-site presence is not required for providing call support.

• Patient encounters per shift: 3

• Beds in Department: 8

Board Certifications and Certifications Required:

• Must be board certified or board eligible.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.

Specialty Skills Required:

• Low and high-risk pregnancy care.
• FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE).
• OB ultrasounds: both Level I (screening) and Level II (anatomic).
• Routine delivery, including vaginal delivery, and decision-making for c-section.
• Complicated delivery skills, including c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs.
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
• Surgical gynecology: both open and laparoscopic procedures, including tubal ligation and elective procedures.

No laser certification or office/minor gynecology skills are required.

Facility does not require trauma or pediatric level certification.

Timeframe for credentialing is approximately 30-90 days.
