This role involves covering a non-invasive cardiology clinic with no call requirements. The schedule includes working from 8 am to 5 pm, with a preferred frequency of 2-3 weeks per month. The emphasis is on new patients, with each day consisting of 16-18 patient consultations. If tests are ordered, employed physicians will interpret the studies, and follow-up appointments can be scheduled with an advanced practice provider to review results.

Location:
– Nearest Airports: Yakima Air Terminal and Tri-Cities Airport (PSC), which is 90 miles southeast of Yakima.

Requirements:
– Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
– BLS certification is necessary.
– Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
– Special skills in internal medicine and cardiology are required.
– Experience in outpatient cardiology is necessary, while inpatient and ICU cardiology, echocardiography, and TEE are preferred.

Facility Information:
– The facility has a trauma level of 3 and pediatrics level of 3.
– The department does not require invasive cardiology skills such as PA catheter placement, IABP placement, cardiac catheterization, heart biopsy, interventional procedures, or electrophysiology.
